Senator Reid is a dirtbag.

Hat-Tip: The Weekly Standard

Senator Reid recently said this:

"I don't know how anyone of Hispanic heritage could be a Republican, okay. Do I need to say more?"

And while I forward the comments of Senator Reid to Mel Martinez, Marco Rubio, Mario Diaz-Balart, Devin Nunes, Illena Ros-Lehtinen, George Prescott Bush, Louis Fortuno, and Pete Lopez (my local Assemblyman), I would like to pose a question to Senator Reid:

How could anyone of African-American heritage realistically become apart of the Democratic Party; the party of slavery, of black codes, poll taxes, literacy tests, and the Ku-Klux-Klan?

Why wouldn't individuals of Hispanic heritage become Republicans? We're the only Party in this Country that is committed to Free Trade Agreements with Latin America, that is opposed 110% to Latin Dictatorships, and that still regards Cuba as a foe in international affairs.

Plus - We're avid supporters of National Security, Individual initiative, Law and Borders, along with many other items of agreement with the American Hispanic Community. Senator Reid, you're a congressional joke, a joke that should be voted out of office this November once and for all.

Truly compelling is his attitude that skin color demands you think a certain way. If this attitude is not racist it is certainly prejudicial. It is a Kinsley gaffe, indeed.

This attitude, while prolific, in the democratic leadership is not to go unchallenged.

There is a movement taking place in the conservative black community with Joe Hicks and Project21.

GOProud, GayPatriot, Hillbuzz and Tammy Bruce are bringing the message to the gay community.

So are these folks leaders or first followers.
